1. What types of urns do you offer?

We offer handcrafted wooden urns for both human and pet ashes. Our collection includes traditional designs, /luxury hard wood urns, keepsake urns, and budget urns. We also provide natural bamboo scatter tubes to transport treasured ashes to a final resting place. Each piece is carefully crafted to honour your loved one with dignity and beauty.

2. Are your urns suitable for both burial and display?

Yes. Our urns are designed to be versatile—whether for home display, niche placement, or burial. If you’re planning to bury the urn in a cemetery, please check their requirements.  

3. How do I know what size urn to choose?

A general guideline is that you’ll need approximately 1 cubic inch of space per pound of body weight. For example, a 150-pound person would typically require a 150-cubic-inch urn. We provide size recommendations on each product page to help you choose the appropriate size.

4. How long does it take to receive my urn?

Most standard orders ship same day if you order by 1pm Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays). Delivery speed can be selected at checkout and can be as fast as next day.

5. What kind of wood do you make your urns from ?

We use sustainably sourced hardwoods and softwoods including oak, birch and pine wood.  We also use bamboo.  Each type of wood has its own unique grain and finish, offering a range of natural beauty and durability.

6. Are your pet urns different from the ones made for people?

The craftsmanship is the same, but pet urns tend to start at smaller sizes. 

7. What is your return policy?

Due to the nature of our products, we accept returns within 28 days of delivery. 

8. Can I order over the phone or get help choosing an urn?

Our customer service team is here to support you. We can’t take orders over the phone, but we can provide assistsance to help you order online. Whether you need help placing an order or choosing the right urn, you can reach us via phone or email. We’re honoured to assist you during this important time.

9. Do you ship the urns overseas?

We can to most locations throughout the UK and EU.  You can order online if you are in the UK, but we need to discuss orders that are outside of the UK to ensure you get our best delivery service and rates.  Email support@urnsandmemories.co.uk

10. Do you sell to the public and also offer trade sales

We accept orders small and large alike. We offer our urns to you directly here or if you are a charity or business, please get in touch with us for special bulk rates.
